A nice idea for a little treat for your visitors is to make some subtle design changes to your site around the holidays to reflect the season or holiday that is approaching. Nobody does this better then Google themselves, every holiday as well as some random days from history are commemorated by Google making some changes to their logo to reflect the event or holiday. I along with many others are drawn to Google on these days to see what they did, and to try and find the significance or meaning to the design change. It quickly becomes a topic of conversation around work places, and I'm sure drives more traffic to their site (as if they needed it). You can definitely get some interest in your site both from your customers and people they tell if you are creative and put some interesting design change on your site to commemorate a holiday or similar event.
You must first decide what changes you want to make, then implement them in a way that is tasteful to both your original design and the holiday spirit it represents.
If its good enough for Google why not try it yourself!
Contact your webmaster, or website maintenance provider and see what they can come up with. If you like the idea and would like to implement something like this on your site, contact MastroTek website design and internet marketing.
